Frequently Asked Questions If we send photos in will our child be accepted on your books? From all the photos we receive the agency only takes on a small percentage of those received. Grace and Galor will only take on a child if we feel they have a strong look that is right for our clients, or at the very least show good potential. There is no advantage to an agency or parent to take on a child they feel will not work, Is there a fee to join the agency? There is no fee charged to join our agency. We earn the standard 25%/37.5% agency commission on work models perform through our agency. While there are no fees to be represented by our agency the models are asked to cover their own expenses such as photos and website fees. How much does it cost? There are no upfront fees to join the agency. We do recomend a fantastic photgrapher due to her high calibre of work and she charges £45.00 to have shots done for the agency. Our outside web designer charges £20.00 to construct a childs template for the website, this charge is deducted from a childs first job. Why is it important to have professional photos for the website? Children are represented in a different way to adults. Adults are regularly seen on go sees, where at their own expense they visit clients. Children are seen at set auditions where quite often the client will pay an audition fee and would have requested the child by pictures emailed to the client by the agency or from the agency website. Therefore the pictures and the website need to be of a high standard. How do we get the photos for the website? Unless you already have photos of a very high standard which fit in with the format of the agency website we recommend the child to a professional independent photographer who provides the agency with a contact sheet of high standard pictures, two of which are chosen for the website and for use to promote the child to clients. How do we know if clients are showing an interest in our child? Unfortunately due to the high number of enquires from clients it is impossible to notify parents every time a client has expressed an interest in their child. Once a client has requested to see or book a child the parent will of course be notified. How many jobs can my child expect in a year? Unfortunately we are unable to answer this as it is the client who makes the decision on who to book. With children it also depends on which age range the client is requesting at the time. Some children's careers can take off quickly, whilst others may start off slowly and build gradually. The main aim though is for all the children to enjoy what they are doing. |
